THE LORD LOVES YOU

For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.(Psalm 149:4)
Beloved! There is someone Who loves us dearly more than anyone else in this world। We may go through various problems, losses, people may forsake us but the Lord will never forsake us. When we reciprocate His love and say, "My beloved is mine, and I am his" (Songs of Solomon 2:16), then He will fulfill the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). Some of us even after accepting Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour and tasting His love fail to give Him the first place in our lives. We give importance to human relationships than to God. This is what the Bible says, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness" (Matthew 6:33). We must give the Lord His due place, the first place in our lives. Then He shall redeem us from all evil and make us His own and shower His love and blessings upon us. When we become His own people, He will be our Father and will dwell in our hearts and home (2 Corinthians 6:16, 18).A family was blessed with two daughters. The elder daughter was beautiful and good in studies. Her parents loved her more than their younger daughter. The younger daughter was neither beautiful nor intelligent and so her parents did not take any pride in her. She always wondered and said, “Why did God create me like this? Her college friend was a God fearing girl who shared the love of God and both used to pray whenever they had time. Soon, she made Lord Jesus as the Lord of her life. She was filled with the divine joy and happiness. She excelled in studies and got many degrees. She got married to a God fearing man earlier than her sister. Beloved! The Lord desires us to give Him the first place in our lives. When we do so, He will make us His own and shower abundant blessings on us. Prayer:Loving Heavenly Father,I praise and thank You for Your everlasting love. Father, forgive me for not giving You the first place in my life. Give me grace to give You the first place in my life and lead a life pleasing to You. Make me Your own and bless me with the blessings You have for Your people. Redeem me from evil and give me grace to experience Your everlasting love. In Jesus’ name I pray.Amen.
