MIRACLE WORKING POWER

This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.(John 2:11)
Dear friend! Jesus Christ said, “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12)। He came into the world to destroy the works of satan. The people who lived in darkness of sin saw a great light wherever He went. Light dawned on those who sat in the region of shadow of death. Once, a woman from Spain visited Cana which is a village in Galilee, and where Jesus Christ did the glorious miracle of changing water into wine at a wedding. Now, there stands a beautiful church where one of the stone jars has been placed in memory of that glorious miracle. This lady was astonished when she saw the stone jar kept in the church. Her heart was filled with the glory of the Lord. She held the stone jar and wept thinking about the glory and the power of Jesus.Dear friend, if her heart could be filled with such joy on seeing the stone jar which reminded her of the miracle working power of Lord Jesus, how much more should our hearts be filled with glory as we experience Him in reality in our lives! Miracles will take place in our lives when we experience His glory in our heart and praise Him.Once, I had been to Shillong in Meghalaya ( North India) to preach the gospel. On the last day of the prayer meeting, I was requested to pray for people individually who were in great distress. But when I went there, a large number of people were gathered. My heart was broken when I saw them in distress. I got onto the dais and said, “Let us call upon the Holy Spirit with oneness of mind Who will deliver you from your problems". I cried to God, “Lord these people have come in faith. Descend in our midst to manifest Your glory!" The people also started calling on Him in one accord. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit descended in a glorious and mighty way! The glory of the Lord filled that place. The Word of God says, “The Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17). Suddenly, a strong faith came upon me and immediately I laid my hands on everyone and prayed for them.After a year, Jesus Calls Meetings took place again in Shillong. A young woman from Guwahati, Assam, came there and testified, “Last year, I came and attended the morning meeting with my parents. I had a tumour in my uterus. The doctors who examined me said my chance of survival was less. But with faith I prayed along with Bro.Paul Dhinakaran who was interceding for each one of us. I experienced a mighty power filling me and I felt strengthened. Later, when I went for a check up, the doctors were amazed as the report showed no trace of the tumour. At the very place I shared the miracle working power of God to the doctors.” Jesus Christ who surrendered His life on the cross for us is alive even today, to manifest His glory through miracles. Do not be disheartened.Prayer:Loving Lord Jesus,You are a magnificent God! You worked wonderful miracles in the lives of everyone who came seeking You when You lived in this earth as a man. Even today, You prove that You are alive and work wonders and miracles in the lives of those who trust You. Lord, I trust You. When I think of Your wonders, my heart fills with glory. Lord, help me to always be filled with Your glory and manifest it through mighty miracles. I praise You and thank You for being the Master of my life.Amen.
