FULLNESS OF GOD

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.(Colossians 2:9)
Beloved! It is the will of God that you should experience His fullness। Apostle Paul had experienced the fullness of God and had received the blessings। He says, “Indeed I have all and abound” (Philippians 4:18). He knew the joy and happiness of God's fullness. He also further encourages us to experience this fullness. He says, “I pray that you be filled with the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:19). The blessings you receive by the fullness of God are immeasurable. The Bible says, “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9). It is the desire of the Lord that you should be filled with the fullness of God. “And of His (Christ’s) fullness we have all received, and grace for grace” (John 1:16). The fullness of God will clothe you with spiritual power just as Jesus was clothed on this earth. He said, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth” (Matthew 28:18). You too shall walk in authority.God not only bestows spiritual blessings on you but also earthly blessings as well. Once, Jesus Christ asked His disciples, "When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?" They replied, "Nothing" (Luke 22:35). Likewise God will meet our needs on this earth in abundance. How do you receive the fullness of God?You need to be faithful to receive the blessings of fullness of God. Yes, faithfulness is the key to the fullness of blessings. The Bible says, “A faithful man will abound with blessings” (Proverbs 28:20).Another version says, “A faithful man will receive the fullness of God because of his faithfulness” I was employed in an office in a certain town many years ago. There I used to meet a doctor who had a great anxiety about his son. His son was an honest man and was transparent in his dealings and because of this he could not get a job. After few years I happened to meet some of the relatives of the doctor and I enquired about the doctor’s son. I learnt that he had been blessed in many ways and that he was doing very well. I was greatly pleased to hear that. Yes, anyone who is faithful to God, honest and truthful in his ways, is sure to be filled with the fullness of God!Beloved! The Lord will also bless you with His fullness when you are faithful to Him. You will walk in authority like Jesus did on this earth. He will meet all your needs in abundance. Peace and joy will flow into your life.Prayer:Loving Heavenly Father,I thank You for Your Word. Father, help me to be faithful to You in everything. Give me grace to experience and enjoy the fullness of God. Meet all my needs in abundance. Bestow all the blessings on me and give me grace to walk in authority. In Jesus’ name I pray.Amen.
