For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen. (2 Corinthians 1:20)
Beloved, there are thousands of God's promises in the Bible. God has intended to bless us through these words of Blessings. The Bible says, "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20). The promises of the Lord will certainly be fulfilled in your life too.
May be sometimes you worry, "Oh, I don't get blessings; whatever I do ends in failure and loss! May be I have to suffer like this all through my life." But the Lord assures everyone who seeks Him: "From now on I will bless you." The Bible also says, "Blessings are on the head of the righteous"(Proverbs 10:6).
Yes, my friends, when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord in our life, we become righteous. When we seek the Lord wholeheartedly, God's blessings come to pass in our lives. Not only that, He blesses our children and our children's children for generations and generations (Psalm 37:26).
I have been experiencing the great blessings in my life. It is over 48 years since I began seeking after the Lord. From that time onwards, though, on one side, I have been suffering pain and sorrows now and then, the Lord, true to His word, has always been ordaining blessings. And these blessings have come to stay.
So my beloved, please don't despair: "Why all these sufferings and problems have to fall only on me?" The Lord has abundant blessings in store for you. See how the Lord calls Abraham and promises him His blessings! God called Abraham out of a heathen family and promises him, "I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing... And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed" (Genesis 12:2,3).
It is indeed a great privilege, to be called by God and receive the Word of blessing! Yes, the Lord calls us in order to bless us through His unchanging promises. Not only God promises, but also keeps His promises! We see in the Bible that God blessed Abraham in a perfect manner (Genesis 24:1, 35).
Beloved, believe and ask the Lord in prayer to bless you and fulfill all the promises in His appointed time. Then, the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think will surely do greater and mighty things in your life. May the God of promises bless you according to His promises pronounced on you!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I praise You for all the promises given to us! I confess that all the promises of You in Christ Jesus are Yes, and in Him Amen. Let the word of promises pronounced on my family and me come in to pass in Jesus' name. Help me to believe Your promises everyday without fail. Forgive me all my unbelief and make me to inherit Your blessings intended for me. In Jesus' name, I pray.
Amen.
