Flame On Every Head - 2

If you are saved, you are also called. Being called is not an extra thing that's tacked on to salvation. If you view it that way, you may never find your calling. Being called is part of salvation. God has saved us and called us with a holy calling.

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began (2 Timothy 1:8-9).

It doesn't depend on our own ability or our level of education or our social status. If you are seeking a job in the world, those are the kind of things that people would quiz you about.

When it comes to your calling in God, it's not based on those factors; it's not according to our works. You do not have to sit there and say, "I was a high school dropout. I never really made it anywhere. I can't even hold a job as a janitor." That is no longer relevant, you see. And if you're measuring yourself that way, you're not measuring yourself God's way.

The Part 2 Series of Flame on every head will break the barrier of inability and lead you to your glorious heavenly calling instituted by God especially for you.
